The Austin Fundraising Scene
All of the contents of this blog site are intended to help our Texas based schools but we also lend our helping hands to organizations across the U.S. If your group isn’t located in Texas, click here so you can take a look at our national website. It really doesn’t matter how large your group is because we’re up to working with groups of 4 to 4,000.
We Transform Regular Fundraising Chairpersons
Into Local Heroes! … Yes We Do!
Last year was a huge one for our schools and groups. Using our new philosophy on prizes, we were able to help the sellers of our schools and groups to boost their sales by up to 40% to as much as 800%. One of the schools that we worked with increased their income from $5,400 to $46,000 without having to change the members of their fundraising group. What’s really shocking is that we helped them achieve this amazing feat IN ONE YEAR!
A football league and a school that we worked with that were 17 miles apart from each other were able to beat their best sales ever by more than $37,000. The football league was able to earn $23K last year while the school earned $25K last year. This year, they shocked themselves by getting an average of $63,000. We truly transformed Beth and Stacey.
Mitchell Intermediate is one of the rather large schools that AIM Fundraising was able to work with about 9 years ago, only earned an average of $68K. However, once they got hand in hand with us, they increased their sales by earning $156,220 last year. Now, that’s really amazing. What’s even more amazing though is that they earned over $180,000 this year! I haven’t got the exact figure yet so I wasn’t able to update the chart below yet. Can your school achieve something as amazing as that? Believe me, if you told these guys 4 years ago that in 2010, they were going to hit a whopping $180,000+ in sales, they would surely burst out in laughter. Take note that the last 3 years belonged to the recession period.
Mitchell Intermediate is a rather large school that started with Aim Fundraising some 9 years ago at $68k. Each year they have increased their fundraiser sales and last year they did $156,220. This year their sale was over $180,000! (I don’t have the exact figure yet so I haven’t updated the chart below.) Could your school do something like that? Believe me, if you had told them 4 years ago that in 2010 they would have a $180,000 + sale, they would have laughed at you. (The last 3 years have been during a recession!)
What made a huge difference in their fundraiser?
A lot of people think that the fundraising product makes all of the difference in a fundraiser’s success but it doesn’t. All of the fundraising groups that I stated above did cookie dough fundraisers before they worked with AIM and they did the same thing all over again this year.
Stafford Middle School also did cookie dough last year and went for the same thing again. However, with AIM Fundraising by their side, they were able to have $40,600 larger sale than they were able to the year before. This proves that it’s NOT the fundraising PRODUCT that you choose that makes the difference. Instead, it’s HOW you run your fundraiser! Let me say that again, It’s HOW Your Fundraiser Is Run That Makes The Difference!
Take a look at the list I’ve placed below. Some of the groups listed in there had large increases from the fundraisers that they did the year before. The secret that allowed them to achieve a huge increase in their sales wasn’t the fundraising product that they chose. Well, the secret is… there’s no secret at all. It was how they run their fundraising programs, and that is what AIM Fundraising specializes in, Program Management!
Regardless of the type of product you choose to sell, the manner as to how you run your sale is what’s going to determine your fundraiser’s overall success.
The following examples illustrate the difference that proper “program management” can make in a sale!
